Yesterday's service was really good. It's a service you can't afford to miss.
You'll never know when God is going to share something great in the house of God.

Pastor Tan preached about LIFE yesterday.
He said" The moment you become a christian, God wants to use you as an example."

He talked about 4 parts of the Abrahamic Covenent:
1. Leaving to cleave.
It is leaving a life you have now, and cleaving onto meaning entering into a deeper union or relationship with god. To enter into the intimate convenent of God.

2. Intimacy with the lord
Its to wholly follow the lord.
He quoted:" he who is joined with the Lord, is one spirit."
In order for the children of Israel to enter into the promise land, a country flowing with milk and honey, they had to wholly follow the lord. With all their hearts.

3.Faith in God
How wholly does God want you to follow him?
Abraham's faith was tested when God asked him to give up his son Issac.
Abraham's faith had moved on from faith to FIDELITY= Loyalty.
It means Abraham's faith in God is to the point whereby he is able to trust in the character of God knowing that whatever God does is for his Good.

The last pointer, was one that impacted me the most.

4. You become as example through brokenness.
2 corinthians 4:8
~ It is life that comes out of death.
chim?? haha, Well, it simply means, whatever you have been through before, you were brokened for a purpose. To give life to those around you. So that when you eventually meet someone of the same experience, you are able through what you have been through and overcomed, you can encourage and bring this person back on his or her feet with your testimony.

A life that is broken for a purpose to glorify God's goodness.

God began to remind me about how he brought me through my worst times.
It was an adventure, but an adventure worth taken.

My biggest problem at that time became my greatest BREAKTHROUGH.
Indeed God is faithful in all his promises and he has shown me how all things would work for Good to those who love him. That, one day through all my brokenness, I would be able to be a testimony for christ. Knowing that, what i have overcomed, could be a great encouragement for others.

I thank God for using me despite my imperfections.
Though Im so unworthy but yet he chose to love me to the very end. (:

Oh dear, i know, its been a long time since i last blogged here, im so sorry for that.

anyway,on a serious note, lets really continue praying and believing God for breakthrough!
We believe not in a dead God but a God that has risen again and is alive today!

yeah. I was reading the bible last night, and i just felt this was very powerful and thought of sharing with you. (:

Joshua 6:2-3
"See! I have given Jericho into your hand, it's king and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city once. This you shall do six days. And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of the ram's horn before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times and the priests shall blow the trumpets. It shall come to pass when they make a long blast with ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout and the wall of the city will fall down FLAT. "

WOW. I don't know about you, but when i read this i was really impacted. I felt the presence of God come and fill me. You see, over here, they were supposed to overtake the land of Jericho,and the lord gave Joshua some instructions with the promise that the walls of Jericho will fall flat! Amazing is'nt it?

What happened after that? Joshua listened to God and obeyed. True enough, one the seventh day at the seventh march, Joshua shouted to the army, SHOUT! and the walls of Jericho fell flat and they went in to conquer the land. Read the rest of Joshua 6 to know more about it.

You see, what is your wall today?
what is the very thing that is hindering your growth with god? That one thing that is stopping you from moving from glory to glory?

Just like the walls of Jericho that fell flat. YOUR WALL CAN FALL FLAT TOO!!

God always shows his glory through you. Just like through this miracle, Joshua's fame spread throughout the country. God can be glorified through you too!
As you read it, you will find that this miracle is so great, what is it in your life that God cannot do?

Keep on trusting in God and believing in him for your breakthrough, because God is always faithful. The promises he has made, he never fails to keep. When he says it he will do it. Always go back to the word of God. Pray until something happens never give up!

"The prayer of a righteous man avails much."

If you listen just like Joshua did and obey God just like Joshua did. God can do amazing things for you just like he did with Joshua.

Nothing is impossible with God. (:
